With sales growing strongly over the last 3 years and expected to continue Millbrook Carpets needed to invest in a business management system which was to be the key driver of their growth strategy.

Millbrook develop their own product ranges either through own design or selection from third party offerings. Manufacture is sub contracted to suppliers both in the UK but mainly Europe.

Market Research was undertaken and four companies were asked to provide presentations and proposals. Two companies were invited for further discussion and demonstration.

Ingeneros was selected as the preferred supplier on the basis of price, suitability and delivery time.

Having secured the UK distribution rights for the Multihog range of products the two Nicks , Leadley and Carter set up Multihog UK.

The Multihog is a self propelled, diesel powered, hydrostatically driven utility vehicle designed for highway and groundscare maintenance applications. It has several special features and can be used with a wide range of attachments.

A business management system which would grow as the company grows was seen as key to the start up success.

Ingeneros was selected to provide this facility.

The Multihog system has three main components:

• a public website providing product, service and company profile information,

• a specially designed business management system providing a wide range of integrated functions to in-house users

• a specially designed collaboration zone where registered customers can easily access information about their contracts, maintenance schedules and products.

The company has successfully completed its first year of trading with Ingeneros being a crucial part of that success according to Managing Director Nick Leadley
